  Fuel the Body:

  Never skip breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day

  Try diet hot chocolate in regular coffee instead of Mocha's -- they can have anywhere from 300-600 calories a serving

  Try to eat your protein first and then your carbohydrates -- you will be amazed by how full you feel and how many carbohydrates are left over

 

Try dipping your fork in the salad dressing before you dip it in your salad -- you will likely use less dressing

  Try having a protein shake or a protein bar - they're help satisfy sweet cravings especially late at night

  Try baking with unsweetened applesauce it works great -- instead of using oil or whole eggs




Shape the Body:

Try doing cardio on an empty stomach you will burn 80% more fat

Remember, your heart is a muscle too -- everyone needs to do cardiovascular exercise

Wear a heart rate monitor while doing cardio to make sure you're in your fat-burning zone

Set small goals, example: "I will lose 1 pound a week for the next 6 weeks", once you reach this goal you will be more motivated to reach the next

Remember, you did not get out of shape overnight, so be patient and you will get your body back

Remember, muscle weighs way more than fat so gauge your progress using body fat% and measurements instead of getting on the scale

Work out on a regular basis to improve your energy level

Try cross-training so your body does not adapt to any one cardiovascular workout

Switch your workout program every 4-8 weeks for best resultsrmaster

Try running intervals on the treadmill or Stairmaster

Once you get on a regular workout program, your body will feel more rested
