white water rafting, volleyball, basketball and I am always looking for a new
challenge.
How did you get started competiting in Fitness?
It all began when
I got a job teaching aerobics right out of high school. One day while on the
Stairmaster I saw a Fitness America pageant on television and I said to myself
" I want to do that." I was determined to enter a show. I was enrolled
at Riverside College in a weight lifting class and six months later I entered
the Ms. Fitness Corona show.

What are your future goals?
My first goal is to keep serving the Lord Jesus Christ and always put him first in my life. I want to continue to be a role model for children, athletes, weekend warriors and anyone who wishes to lead a healthy lifestyle. I want to educate the public on how important it is to exercise and follow a proper diet. I would like to open an anti-aging wellness center offering everything from personal training, nutrition, sports therapy, skin care, massage, body treatments, day care and I would love to cater it to women.. I want to do whatever the lord puts in my heart to help make a difference in this world.
What is one of your greatest fitness achievements?
I would have to say
going from 90th place in the Ms. Galaxy competition in 1996 to winning the overall
Ms. Galaxy in 1997. (Anything is possible) I have to also say that being able
to compete for all these years in fitness routines without having a gymnastics
or dance background has been a challenge. I hope I can inspire all of you to
go after your passion and your dreams, so you can believe in yourself.
